Campbell PTA and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land have teamed up for the 1st Memorial Hermann Bunny Hop 5K Run or Walk and Silent Auction. The goal is to bring the community together in a fun and healthy way while raising funds to help benefit our teachers and students. Proceeds from the event will go to Campbell PTA and be used towards the purchase of interactive technology for the classrooms and other teaching resources for our school.
Participants can choose from our 5K chip timed run (USATF certified), Family/Kids 1 mile run and Toddler Dash (for ages 5 and under). Kids get to “Chase the Bunny” while they run in their races!

Race Details:
5K Chip Timed Start 8am
Family/Kids 1 mile run 9:15am
Toddler Dash (ages 5 and under) 9:30am
**All children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by an adult on the race course. No bikes, skates, wagons or pets. Strollers are welcome in the Family/Kids 1 mile event only. Event will take place rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather on race day, we will use the discretion of our race director on whether or not to cancel the race for safety concerns. Check this site for information on the morning of the race. Sorry, no refunds on entry fees.

Race Day Registration: You may register in person on race day from 6:30am to 9:00am. Limited T-shirt availability!!!
Post Race Activities:
Come for the race and stay for more family fun! Some of the festivities include:
- Moonwalk Face Painting and games
- Refreshments
- Photo Op with the “Bunny”
- Health Fair
- Fire Truck and Life Flight Helicopter (upon availability)
- Music
- Silent Auction/Raffle
Stop by the Campbell Elementary Gym and check out the incredible silent auction and raffle items we have this year. Up for bid will be teacher outings, themed baskets for all ages and even a Labrador puppy! The auction will open at 7:30am and close at 10:00am.
Awards:
Overall male and female 5K winners will receive an award. Age group awards will be given for male and female 1st-3rd place winners. Every child is a winner! All children who participate in a race will receive a medal.
Training:
Need help training for the 5K? We are working on designing a training program to get you ready for race day. More details coming soon.
Interested in the Kids Modified Marathon Training Program? To help kids’ get ready for the 1 mile race, we have a training log where kids walk/run 25.2 miles over a period of 10 weeks and complete the final mile of their “marathon” on race day. The training log is coming soon!
